What makes Kletterwald Ibbenbüren special
The flex ticket is weather insurance. For 1.50 € extra it can be rebooked until the day before in your account area. The operator gives the reason itself: if heavy rain is forecast for tomorrow, you simply move the date. We have found no other ticket anywhere that anticipates the weather question.
Five age tiers instead of the usual three. Four to five, six to twelve, 13 to 17, then a tier of its own for students, pupils and seniors from 60 – and only then adults. The senior tier is rare.
Climbing from age four. That puts Ibbenbüren among the few sites taking four-year-olds.
HANSEFIT brings 10 € off – but only at the day desk, not online. If you use the corporate fitness scheme, do not book ahead.
Season and ten-trip cards for every tier. The children's season ticket costs 100 €, the adult one 200 € – at 26.50 € a visit that pays off from the eighth time.
New this season: a via ferrata course from age eight, plus new shelters and a treehouse.
The phone line is thinly staffed – Tuesdays from 4 to 7 pm and Fridays from 9 am to noon. Everything else runs by email.
