What makes Kletterwald Silvestria special
The site lies on the Almosenberg near Wertheim-Dertingen, in the north of Baden-Württemberg close to the Bavarian border. It is quicker to reach from Würzburg than from Stuttgart.
The combination packages are the point here. Climbing plus team training, or climbing plus archery, cost 46 € for adults and 36 € for young people. Booked separately it would come to more — and for groups filling a whole day it is the obvious choice.
Team training comes in two lengths: two hours for 29 € or three hours for 38 €, correspondingly less for young people. Archery runs about two and a half hours and costs 24 €.
The birthday child climbs free as soon as six paying visitors come along — a threshold a normal birthday party usually clears.
Opening is mainly at weekends: Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm, plus weekdays from 1 pm during Baden-Württemberg school holidays. Cash only.
