What makes the Natur-Hochseilgarten Wuppertal special

The city runs it itself. The ropes course belongs to the City of Wuppertal's centre for sport and experiential education, together with the Heckinghausen neighbourhood centre and the nature centre at Reppkotten. That also explains the pricing: it is cut for children's, youth and school groups and for social institutions.

No station can be managed alone. At the Flying Bridge the group arranges the freely suspended bridge elements from the ground so that the climber can walk across. Jacob's ladder, the Mohawk walk, the partner beam and the spider's web complete the set.

Inclusion is explicitly intended. The operator writes that people with and without disabilities can climb here together and asks for an individual enquiry - which is precisely why the group has to cooperate anyway.

From nine years or 1.40 metres. The minimum height is no formality: anyone shorter cannot solve the team tasks.

The starting point is the forest hut, which can be rented afterwards with its barbecue for a flat 80 €. Individuals get in only through the dates announced by the city's youth education programme.
