What makes Parco Avventura Cavaioni special
The park lies in Parco Cavaioni on the hills above Bologna, ten minutes from the centre according to the operator. City bus TPER 52 from Piazza Cavour stops at “Parco Cavaioni” right by the entrance – rare public transport access for a ropes park. It is run by the same company as Cerwood in the Apennines.
Nine courses for adults from 140 cm rise in three steps: green, blue and yellow are easy, orange, red and violet medium, Nero, Supernero and Ipernero hard. The operator describes the Ipernero “Vertigo Trail” as the hardest course in Italy. Before that come four practice courses with a compulsory briefing.
Children from 100 cm have seven baby and junior courses of their own, up to 4.5 metres high, plus two practice courses. The category depends only on height, not on age. For everyone the limits are 120 kg and a 120 cm waist, otherwise the harness does not fit.
Booking online pays off: at the till the full ticket costs 29 €, online with a fixed date from 18 €. The park is in a protected area – park only in the four free car parks; on the road you risk fines and towing.

According to the operator the season runs from mid-March to the end of October, usually from 11 am to 7 pm; the individual days are in the online calendar, in autumn it is the weekends. Ticket office and courses close before the park itself; arriving at least three hours before closing is recommended. Organised groups of 20 or more by reservation.
