Ropes park in a pine forest between Pré-Saint-Didier and La Thuile with seven courses up to 18 metres high, views of the Mont Blanc massif and a zip line booked separately.
What makes Parco Avventura Mont Blanc special
The park is at Plan du Bois on the road from Pré-Saint-Didier to La Thuile: after eight hairpins and the first tunnel turn right, and after 200 metres you reach the park and the restaurant "Lo Carà". The platforms hang in a forest of pines more than 20 metres tall, looking out on the Mont Blanc range. The archaeological site of Bois de Montagnoulaz is right next door.
Seven clearly graded courses. Azzurro with 15 platforms up to 1.5 metres is the starter; Viola, Giallo, Verde and Arancione lie between 5 and 9 metres. The hard ones are Rosso with 16 platforms up to 18 metres and Nero with 25 platforms up to 15 metres. The links are Nepalese bridges, zip lines, floating ladders, wobbly logs, lianas and nets; gloves are part of the kit.
You pay by scope: 17 € for two courses, 25 € for five, 30 € for all seven. The zip line costs 15 € extra or 30 € on its own.
In July and August it opens daily from 9 am to 8 pm. In May and June the hours are 10 am to 5 pm except Tuesdays; in October it opens at weekends by reservation.

Booking is recommended in August, by WhatsApp in May and June. In October the park opens at weekends by reservation, on weekdays only for groups of ten or more. For September the operator gives two statements: on the home page information on request, in the notice banner daily 10 am to 5 pm except Tuesday; call ahead.
