What makes Piane Avventura special
The Piane di Mocogno near Lama Mocogno are a ski area on the edge of the Cimone massif in winter and a day-trip destination with an animal enclosure, baby park and hiking trails in summer. The ropes course – called “albering” here – is part of that offer and easy to reach from the SS12.
Two courses, clearly graded: green is two metres up, has six elements and a zip line at the end and is compulsory for everyone. Once you have done it you may go on to blue: 13 platforms six metres up, again finishing with a zip line.
You pay per round, not per hour – a second round is always noticeably cheaper. The same area has a 10-metre climbing wall, a tubing run with rubber rings and a slackline. Minors need written permission from a parent at the ticket desk and must be watched from the ground.
