The site grows with your age. Two and three-year-olds climb the pink toddler course between half a metre and a metre up. From four years and 1.10 metres there are 14 courses with 210 elements up to ten metres, from ten years and 1.30 metres 17 courses with 247 elements up to 13 metres, and from 13 years all 20 courses with 287 elements - up to the black course, which ends with a 14-metre jump into the void.

Climbing time is unlimited. Within opening hours there is no time slot. Forty-five minutes before closing, though, the courses are cleared from the top down, and 30 minutes before closing every one is shut.

More than 30,000 square metres of forest right by the motorway, exit Rutesheim between Pforzheim and Stuttgart. Bus lines 652 and 653 run from the Leonberg S-Bahn station.

Prices exist only inside the booking system. The website carries not a single figure: the operator now takes direct online bookings only. The amounts there include the booking fee, and no separate box-office price is named anywhere. Under ten people you can simply turn up; school classes and groups of 20 or more book by e-mail.

Dogs on a lead are allowed.
