What makes Waldseilpark Karlsruhe special

The site sits on the Turmberg above Karlsruhe-Durlach, the city's local hill, next to the forest playground. The funicular and a walk get you there from town — a climbing park that needs no car.

Twelve courses with more than 100 stations reach up to 16 metres. That puts it among the larger sites in the state and covers everything from a toddler to an adult looking for a challenge.

Equipment is reserved for fixed time slots — free of charge but binding. Turn up spontaneously and you risk finding no harnesses available. The toddler course is the exception: no reservation there, and the accompanying adult pays nothing.

A head covering is mandatory and worn under the helmet. If you have none with you, buy one on site for 4 €.

Climbing time is three hours, one hour on the toddler course. Equipment, briefing and supervision by trained staff are included. Reductions apply for students, apprentices from 18, seniors and groups from 15 people.
