What makes the ACS high ropes course at Flachauwinkl special
70 exercises spread across four to twelve metres – but the real highlight is the 150-metre zip lines running straight across the Winkler bathing lake. A high ropes course where you ride over water rather than forest floor is unusual even in Salzburg.
You do not book a day ticket but a programme: programme 1 runs two hours and is aimed at beginners, programme 2 about three hours and goes considerably further. Both are open from age ten, with equipment and briefing included.
The belay system is TÜV-tested and built so that you cannot unhook yourself – one carabiner stays attached throughout. Open all year, registration by phone or e-mail required. The Seestüberl restaurant is right on site.
