Kletterpark Salzburg Waldbad Anif

Anif · Salzburg · from age 3

140 stations across twelve courses between two and 13 metres – the routes are named after the mountains around Salzburg, from Mönchsberg to Watzmann.

What makes Kletterpark Salzburg special

The courses are named after the surrounding mountains — and the order follows their height: the briefing courses are called Mönchsberg, Festungsberg and Kapuzinerberg, after the city's own hills. Then come Rainberg and Heuberg, then Gaisberg and Schlenken, and at the top stand Untersberg and Watzmann. If you know the area, you read the difficulty off the name.

140 stations across twelve courses between two and 13 metres. They include a snowboard ride high up and the "Big Cross", two tree trunks crossing in mid-air.

You pay for access, not for time: 21 € for courses 1 to 5, 26 € for a middle selection, 31 € for everything. The mini climbing park from three costs 8 €.

100 cm is enough to start on the regular courses — one of the lower thresholds in Austria.

The park sits in the Waldbad Anif south of Salzburg. In high season it opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm, in the pre- and post-season at weekends only. In very poor weather, call ahead.
