What makes Kletterpark Magdeburg special
The admission price is not the whole price. The climbing park sits inside the Elbauenpark, and that park's ticket has to be bought separately at its own gate. The operator puts this at the top of its price list – we repeat it here because it noticeably changes the sum for a family.
The ElbauenZip zip line starts at the Millennium Tower. It is a separate offering with its own times; its last briefing is 30 minutes before closing, whereas for the climbing park itself entry stops 2.5 hours before.
Eight courses with 55 climbing elements. That makes the site more compact than the big forest parks, but it is in the middle of the city and reachable by tram.
Two hours including the briefing, after which each 15 minutes started costs 4 €. That is a finer increment than at most sites, which bill in half hours.
School classes are priced from 20 people, and per 20 pupils two teachers or supervisors climb free. Each further one costs 17 €.
Instructors can be added, by the hour and ideally booked 14 days ahead.
The season runs from April to October, and during the autumn holidays the operator opens outside the main season when the weather allows.

For children: From age five, on the green and blue levels and only accompanied by an adult who climbs along. From nine to 13 a minimum height of 1.30 m applies, again for green and blue. Anyone under 14 needs an adult present on site; 14- to 18-year-olds need written consent from a guardian.
