Kletterwald Bärenfalle

With 19 courses at heights of up to 20 metres, this is Bavaria's largest climbing park, above Immenstadt in the Allgäu. Several flying fox runs cross the site, and there is a separate kiddy course for children from three.
What makes Kletterwald Bärenfalle special
19 courses is a statement: it makes the Bärenfalle the largest site in Bavaria and, measured against the Austrian parks in this directory, among the largest anywhere. It sits above Immenstadt, within sight of the Alpsee.
Heights run up to 20 metres. Mixed groups will find something at every level here, from ground-level starts to courses whose platforms sit up in the canopy.
The flying fox runs are courses in their own right, not just a closing ride: "Fliegender Bär" and "Vogelbär" comprise up to seven lines. Belaying uses EDELRID's SMART Belay, where only one carabiner can open at a time.
For three-year-olds there is the kiddy course — one of the few sites that lets children start that early. Everything else requires six years with an adult along and a height of 120 cm.
The Alpsee Coaster sits right next door, which makes the site worth a full day out. Current prices are published by the operator on their website.

For children: The kiddy course is open from age three. The regular courses require a minimum age of six with an accompanying adult and a minimum height of 120 cm.

Public holidays are included. In late March and early November it only opens in suitable weather – the operator points to its Google listing for that. From 9 November it closes for the winter until Easter.
