Kletterwald Einsiedel
Rimpar · Bayern · from age 3
A climbing forest in the Gramschatz woods where the youngest children's chaperone needs no ticket – they belay from the ground.
What makes Kletterwald Einsiedel special
The minis' chaperone pays nothing. They walk along on the ground, take over belaying after the briefing and do not climb themselves – no ticket needed. One adult looks after up to three children. Elsewhere the chaperone pays too.
Four mini courses, with a fifth added in 2026. At one to one and a half metres, deliberately kept manageable.
The main courses run up to 20 metres. That is the range that makes the forest interesting for adults: three to 20 metres.
All tickets last three hours including the briefing. The operator counts the briefing openly rather than adding it on top.
The reduced rate is broadly defined: minors, pupils, students and apprentices all pay the same 20 €.
Family tickets from three people cut every rate by 2 €, and the Entdecker package covers six minis for 90 €.
You can book up to twelve hours ahead – recommended, not compulsory.

For children: The mini courses are for children from about three up to 1.40 m; one adult accompanies up to three children from the ground. The main courses start at 1.30 m. Under ten or 1.40 m one chaperone climbs along per three children, above that supervision on site is enough, and from 14 to 17 you may climb alone with a consent form.
