What makes Kletterwald Grüntensee special
The Grüntensee lies between Oy-Mittelberg and Wertach, with the climbing park above it. It belongs to a group of three sites, which shows in the pricing.
The supervision rule is unusually generous: one adult may accompany up to five children. At many other parks the limit is two or three. For birthday parties and club outings that makes a practical difference.
The 120-centimetre minimum height is binding here, not merely a recommendation — anyone arriving with children who have just turned six should measure beforehand.
For three- to five-year-olds there is a separate toddler course: 8.50 € for ninety minutes. It is an offering in its own right, not a stripped-down version of the main course.
Season passes come in two sizes — 130 € for the Grüntensee alone, 190 € for all three of the operator's sites. From about five visits a year that pays off.
The regular ticket covers three hours; each additional hour costs 5 €.
