What makes Kletterwald Ossiacher See special

With more than 150 exercises across 14 courses in four difficulty levels, this is one of Austria's largest adventure parks. It sits in old beech woodland overlooking Lake Ossiach, a five-minute walk from the centre of Ossiach.

The stand-out feature is the "Fly-Line", according to the operator Austria's first forest roller coaster: children from the age of two glide gently through the treetops on it – something you will rarely find elsewhere in this form.

The dense leaf canopy keeps the park pleasant on hot days and in light rain. No booking or online ticket is needed, so spontaneous visits work fine. The panorama terraces serve drinks, ice cream and snacks.
