What makes Kletterwald Pottenstein special

Pottenstein is the kind of place where a day rarely holds just one thing: the Devil's Cave, the summer toboggan run and the rock-side pool all sit in the same valley. The climbing park fits into that and is built for families who want to fill half a day.

The two ziplines are what lifts this beyond the usual course routine. The Flying Fox runs 250 metres starting at 20 metres up; the Franken Fox is the same length from 18 metres, and two people can ride it side by side. Both cost 4 € extra and are not part of the admission.

The price ladder is finely graded: four age brackets between 4 and 18, plus a separate rate for apprentices and students. From three people onwards every ticket drops by 1.50 € — not a family tariff in the classic sense, but it applies to any group, adults included.

For the smallest there is the Zwergenspezial: one child aged four or five climbs together with an adult, 41 € for the pair. Anyone travelling with children that age should expect the adult to be on the course the whole time.
