What makes Kletterwald Regensburg special
The site lies in Sinzing, a few kilometres west of Regensburg in the Naab valley. What sets it apart is how clearly it is divided by age.
Four tiers instead of one site for everyone: from four, three courses with 19 elements at 0.5 to 2 metres are open. From six, eight courses with 70 elements up to 8 metres are added; from 13, twelve courses with 107 elements up to 20 metres; and from 16 all fifteen courses with 126 elements up to 23 metres. Arriving with mixed age groups, you can work out in advance who gets where.
23 metres is the greatest height among all the Bavarian sites in this directory.
The evening ticket applies from two hours before closing and costs 12 per cent less. Regulars can buy multi-visit passes: ten climbs for the price of eight.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are closed, and the winter break starts on 2 November. The last briefing begins two hours before closing — arrive later and you will not get on the course.

In August and September Fridays 11 am to 7 pm, Saturdays and Sundays 10 am to 7 pm; closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. October and November run shorter until 5 pm, with the winter break from 2 November. The last briefing starts two hours before closing.
