Kletterwald Schloss Scherneck

Rehling · Bayern · from age 2

A climbing forest by the castle with a skateboard course from tree to tree. One adult may look after up to five children.

What makes Kletterwald Schloss Scherneck special

One adult may look after five children. That is the most generous ratio in this directory – elsewhere it is two or three, and at some sites one to one. For birthday parties and large families that makes the difference.

From tree to tree on a skateboard. Alongside the huge spider's web and the Flying Fox course, that is the station the operator names first itself.

From age two on the Tiefblick course, an hour and a half for 10 €, supervised from the ground. That puts Scherneck among the very few sites taking two-year-olds.

The large annual pass covers three climbing forests: Scherneck, Grüntensee and Bärenfalle – both of the others are in this directory too. 190 € for adults, 150 € for children, valid a year from purchase rather than to the end of the season.

An extra hour costs 5 €. If three hours are not enough, you do not have to buy a new ticket.

Individual visitors come without booking. Registration starts at ten people, and from 25 the site opens outside its regular days.
