What makes Parco Avventura di Ollomont special
The park lies in a wood by the old mining village of Les Rey in Ollomont, in the Valpelline north of Aosta – close to the info point of the Ollomont-Valpelline mining complex and on the path to the tunnels of the Saint-Jean mine. It is part of the municipality's mining heritage offer, created in an Italian-Swiss Interreg project; after a break the municipality announced its reopening in July 2026.
The courses are named after mining history: Mini Junior for the youngest, Azzurro “Piccolo Minatore” (little miner), Verde 1 “Galleria La Balme”, Verde 2 “Miniera del Filon”, Blu “Ferrovia Decauville” after the former mine railway, the “Frissonia di Sopra” zip lines and, to finish, the red “Diamante” from age ten. Tibetan bridges link the trees.
You pay per course, including the briefing and the protective equipment provided by the park. A session lasts up to three hours, with no more than 60 people on the courses at once. Tickets are sold at the desk only; groups, school classes and family packages are requested through a form on the mines' website. With more time, combine the visit with a guided tour of the Saint-Jean copper mine.
