SAYAQ Adventure Tower
München · Bayern · from age 6
The 22-metre climbing tower in Munich's Olympic Park with 36 stations – with a view into the Olympic Stadium and out over the city.
What makes the SAYAQ Adventure Tower special
It is not a forest ropes park but a free-standing tower — around 22 metres high, with 36 climbing stations, built by KristallTurm of Lenggries. While climbing you look into the Olympic Stadium and out over the city.
The backstory explains why it is there: during the refurbishment of the Olympic Stadium the flying fox across the stadium is out of service. The tower was built as a replacement and put up in April 2026 in just two weeks — without a concrete foundation, because the grounds are covered by ensemble, heritage and nature protection. It could be removed without a trace. More in our blog.
The courses are colour-coded, so you know before you start what you are letting yourself in for. The operator recommends beginning with the easiest.
Smartphones have to be clipped to the harness. If you have no suitable pouch, hire one for 2 € or buy it for 20 €. A GoPro can be hired for 15 € — and you keep the memory card.
It is generally open from March to November. The tower sits in the middle of the Olympic Park and is reachable by public transport.
