Seilpark Baschweri

Bettmeralp · Valais · from age 4

Rope park at almost 2,000 metres on car-free Bettmeralp in the Aletsch Arena – six courses, a 200-metre zip line and a kids' course from age four.

What makes Seilpark Baschweri special

The park lies in the Baschweri area on Bettmeralp, a car-free resort above the Rhône valley reached by cable car. At almost 2,000 metres above sea level, the Aletsch Arena calls it the highest rope park in Switzerland. It is run by Aletsch Bahnen AG.

Six courses and a long zip line. The courses vary in difficulty, and there is a 200-metre zip line on top. Children from four have a kids' course of their own.

A short high season: the park only opens at the end of June and closes in mid-October, but then daily from 9.30 am to 5 pm with last entry at 3 pm. Whether it is open on a given day is shown in the Aletsch Arena status report – at this altitude the weather has a say.

Good to know: families get several discount levels from one adult and one child, and groups of ten or more get 20 % off. The cable car ride is not included in the ticket.
