What makes Seilpark Grächen special
The rope park belongs to the municipal sports centre of Grächen in the Matter valley, right next to Robi's forest playground. It leads from tree to tree over ropes, nets and wooden steps, with several ziplines along the way.
Continuously secured: the park uses the Swiss Saferoller system, so you stay clipped in for the whole course and never have to switch carabiners. That makes it suitable for younger children too: the turtle course is allowed from age four, while the higher routes challenge adults as well, according to the operator.
The highlight is the big zipline from the Adlerhorst; for it you must be at least 1.50 metres tall and weigh 40 kilos. Equipment and instruction are handed out only by trained staff.
You pay by time: 30 or 60 minutes, plus 10-visit and summer passes. That is handy for short visits with small children; the operator gives no season dates or opening hours, so check with the sports centre beforehand.
