What makes Sport Hauber Klettergarten special

You do not drive there. The Imbergbahn takes you up to the Imberg ridge, and from the top station it is about 15 minutes on foot along the adventure trail towards Hohenegg. The climbing garden sits in the middle of the Nagelfluhkette landscape – the approach is part of the trip.

With the Oberstaufen Plus card climbing costs nothing. If you are staying in Oberstaufen and hold the card, you only pay for the cable car. A guest card that replaces admission entirely is something we have found nowhere else in this directory.

The climbing garden does not bill the cable car. It comes on top in every case – including at the regular rates of 17 € and 22 €.

Opening hours depend on the weather. Daily from 11 am to 5 pm with last admission at 4 pm, but in uncertain conditions the operator asks for a phone call first or a look into the Sport Hauber shop at the valley station.
