What makes the Waldklettergarten Banz special
Five colours, five levels. The light blue course runs at about 1.50 metres and is the entry point from six years old, with the yellow one right behind it. The red course holds three zip lines, the green one demands climbing experience - and the brown one, at 15 metres and with the "Tarzan jump", is the showpiece.
The brown course has a height limit, not an age limit. Anyone under 1.60 metres does not get in. The regular three-hour tariff applies from eight years old accompanied by parents; the one-hour beginners' area starts at six.
The forest tavern belongs to it and opens an hour later than the climbing garden each day.
The season starts on 28 March 2026. The operator names no end of season; anyone planning a late autumn visit had better ask. A declaration of consent for minors is available as a PDF.

It opens Thursday and Friday from noon to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm, and during Bavarian school holidays Tuesday to Sunday and on Bavarian public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm, otherwise by arrangement. The forest tavern opens an hour later each time.
