Waldkletterpark Oberbayern

Jetzendorf · Bayern · from 115 cm

A climbing park near Jetzendorf between Munich and Ingolstadt, one of the few that charges no surcharge for weekends, holidays or public holidays. Access is governed by height, not age.

What makes Waldkletterpark Oberbayern special

The site lies near Jetzendorf, roughly halfway between Munich and Ingolstadt, putting it within a short hour of both cities.

The price is the same whenever you come. “No surcharges for weekends, holidays or public holidays” is written plainly on the operator's price page — and among the Bavarian sites in this directory that is the exception. At several others a Saturday costs 4.50 € more per person, which for a family quickly adds up to a meal out.

Height is measured, not age. Between 1.15 m and 1.30 m it is the children's course; from 1.30 m the rest opens up. If you are bringing a tall five-year-old or a small ten-year-old, measure rather than calculate.

An option for adults who would rather stay low: the low ropes course on its own costs 23 € instead of 32 €. That is an honest choice for companions who want to join in but not at twelve metres.

Part of the service is that the trainers fit the harnesses themselves — it sounds minor, but with children it saves time and arguments. Climbing time is three hours.

For regulars there are ten-visit passes, valid three years but personalised and sold on site only. People with a B-marked disability pass pay a flat 20 € including a companion. An adventure minigolf course sits next door.
