Waldseilgarten Wallenhausen
Weißenhorn · Bayern · from age 3
A family business built on an experiential education concept, with nine courses and the top safety grade of the climbing park standard.
What makes Waldseilgarten Wallenhausen special
Safety grade E – the highest of the climbing park standard, which runs from A to E. The operator replaced the belay system in 2015; unclipping by accident has been impossible since.
Every single tree is assessed. A certified tree surveyor inspects and maintains every tree in the rope course. Hardly any other operator publishes that.
Accompanying a child in the Indian forest is free. Children aged three to seven pay 15 €, and the adult climbs along at no cost. Elsewhere the chaperone pays the same rate as the child.
Climbing here is explicitly a team sport. The site was built on an experiential education concept, and depending on how busy it is, individual team elements are possible too – just ask the instructors.
Monday to Friday by arrangement only, except during the Bavarian holidays. That lets the operator manage visitor numbers, and on those days you can book the site exclusively.
Helmets compulsory, with a hygiene liner. Your own cycling, riding or climbing helmet is welcome; with a rental helmet you need a cap or scarf underneath, available for 3 €. There are no special sizes – if you have a large head, bring your own.
No discounts on team rates. The operator writes that plainly rather than letting you discover it at booking.
