Woodland Hochseilpark
Werfenweng · Salzburg · from 110 cm
High ropes park in Werfenweng in the Tennengebirge, part of the summer mountain programme.
What makes Woodland Hochseilpark special
Six courses are graded cleanly by height: the mini course keeps its eight stations below two metres, the yellow one goes to three, Flying X to five, the red one to eight – and finally the X Area to twelve metres, with zip lines 45 to 58 metres long. An orientation course helps you settle in first.
That fine grading is the real advantage for families: between "just above the ground" and "twelve metres with a zip line" there are four intermediate steps, instead of the single one many sites offer.
The mini course is open from 110 cm but only with an adult along; the youth courses from age nine require 140 cm. Belaying is continuous with the certified SafetyLine system. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, groups of 15 or more register in advance.
