What makes Kletterwald Vulkanpark special
The Takka-Tukka-Land has 18 elements — considerably more than the area of the same name at the sister park in Sayn, which manages with ten. It consists of a climbing and a zipline course up to two metres high and costs 11 € for three hours.
Access goes by reach height, not body height: 1.40 m in the children's area, 1.60 m for independent climbing from twelve. It is measured with the arm stretched up — more accurate than body height because it reflects actual reach.
The season starts early. The first climbing weekend was 21 and 22 March 2026, well ahead of most sites in this directory.
Three or five hours are on offer, with each extra half hour at 3 €. The last briefing starts two hours before closing.
Some days are reserved for private events; the booking system on the website shows when.
