What makes Kletterwald Diez special
There is a rate for emergency services and volunteers. BOS organisations – the German authorities with security duties, meaning the fire service, paramedics, the THW and the police – and holders of a volunteer card pay 18.50 € instead of 21.50 € on proof. No other site in this directory carries that category.
Reach is measured, not age. The Mini-Helden course is cleared for 130 to 160 cm – anyone taller climbs the normal courses, whatever their age.
Climbing time can be topped up. A further hour costs 5 €, climbing until closing time 10 €. If you like, you can add a personal trainer for 35 € an hour.
Treat the figures with care. The operator writes "the prices are valid for the 2022 season" and the home page carries the date 1 November 2022. We list the prices because they come from the operator's own site – but call ahead before you drive out.
