What makes Fun Forest Kandel special
Seven hectares of the Bienwald, over 200 trees, some 17,000 metres of steel cable. The operator calls it the largest climbing park in the region, and the 23 courses bear that out.
The children's course is a ticket of its own, not an add-on: from age three, from 12.90 €. Arriving with small children therefore does not mean paying for the 14 courses they are not allowed on anyway.
Pro courses 15 and 16 cannot be booked in advance. They cost from 6 € extra and are added on site when there is room - anyone set on climbing them should arrive early.
Climbing requires booking ahead. Tickets come from the operator's web shop; turning up on the day does not work here.
The season ends on 1 November 2026. For holidays the park follows Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg - the two states' autumn holidays close at different times.

Outside the holidays the park opens on Fridays from 12 to 7 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and bridge days from 10 am to 7 pm. During the Easter, Whitsun and summer holidays it opens daily from 10 am to 7 pm, during the Rhineland-Palatinate autumn holidays until 6 pm and during the Baden-Württemberg ones until 5 pm. The holidays that count are those of Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg. The season ends on 1 November 2026. For groups of 15 or more the park also opens outside these times. To use the full climbing time, be there 3.5 hours before closing.
