Kletterwald Lauschhütte
Daxweiler · Rheinland-Pfalz · from age 8
Climbing alone here requires a reach of 1.80 metres – the highest in the directory.
What makes Kletterwald Lauschhütte special
A reach of 1.80 metres to climb alone. That is the greatest reach demanded anywhere in this directory – most sites set 135 to 165 cm. What is measured is the outstretched arm, not body height; Fun Forest Homburg asks 1.70 metres for its big course but counts body height. Anyone who falls short climbs accompanied only.
One adult per child. Other sites let one adult supervise two to six children; here it is one to one. For a family with two children that means both parents climb.
You can sleep in a tree house. The Forsthaus Lauschhütte in the Bingen forest has tree houses, forest cabins and yurts – a climbing forest to stay at.
Alongside the climbing forest there is an archery trail on a 1.5 km circuit, plus TabAction, a treasure hunt with tablet and compass through the Bingen forest.
Prices are given only as a starting figure. The overview page says "from 15 €", the booking system "from 20 €" for three hours. We carry no number while the two contradict each other.
