Three is the lowest age limit we have found in Thuringia. The two themed courses hold 15 tasks tailored to the needs and interests of small children.
The height is deliberately chosen so parents can walk alongside on the ground. That is the practical difference from a children's course that is low but out of reach: here you stay next to the child instead of calling up from below.
The belay is continuous — the children clip in once and stay secured to the end.
Climbing time is 1.5 hours and admission costs 17 €. Families of three or more get 2 € off per person, and school classes and youth groups of 15 or more pay 14 €.
Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm; groups can enquire at any time outside those hours too.
