Hochseilgarten Harz Jangstel Jungle

Sankt Andreasberg · Niedersachsen

After 20 years in the forest, at a new site 720 metres above sea level: around 95 obstacles on two levels, by registration only and only in good weather.

What makes Hochseilgarten Harz Jangstel Jungle special

The site has moved. After 20 years as a high ropes course in the forest, Bergsport Arena now runs the whole thing under the name Jangstel Jungle at a new location on the grounds of the Jangstel Inn. If you know the old site, you will find a different concept.

720 metres above sea level, high above the mining town of Sankt Andreasberg. That makes it one of the highest-lying sites in this directory outside the Alps.

Around 95 obstacles on two levels are spread over some 900 metres, with zip lines and bridges.

There are only two time slots a day: 11 am to 2 pm or 2 to 5 pm. The safety briefings run at around 11.15 am and 2.15 pm. Turn up in between and you are late.

A visit is only possible with prior registration. In return, parking on site is free for registered guests.

Rain means closed. The operator lists storms, hail, snowfall, rain, thunderstorms and temperatures below 5 °C as reasons to close. Most sites in this directory carry on climbing in the wet and only shut for thunderstorms – here plain rain is enough.

Opening is every Saturday from 18 April to 31 October 2026, plus Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14 July to 13 August.
