What makes the Hochseilgarten Volkmarshausen special
A sports club runs it, not a leisure company. SV Schedetal Volkmarshausen completed the facility on its own sports ground in April 2008 and founded its climbing section when it opened.
Built to the European safety standards for ropes courses (ERCA). Supervision comes exclusively from the club's own, specially trained ropes course instructors.
The purpose is teamwork. The club describes the offer as a chance for clubs, institutions, school classes and companies to test and train team behaviour, communication skills and mutual trust.
The club publishes neither prices nor opening hours; dates are arranged through the climbing section. Alongside it there is regular climbing training at the "Roter Sand" sports ground on Mondays, for children and then for teenagers and adults.

The club publishes no opening hours; the ropes course is used only by arrangement with the climbing section. Alongside it, regular climbing training runs at the "Roter Sand" sports ground on Mondays, for children from 5 to 6.30 pm and for teenagers and adults from 6.30 to 8 pm.
