What makes Kletterpark Cuxhaven special
Sea view instead of forest view. The operator describes its park as unique worldwide – the only high ropes course lying directly on the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. It stands in the Wernerwald near Sahlenburg, and the view is the argument.
The courses are named after the islands offshore. Borkum and Juist are the hardest and require 1.50 m, while 1.25 m with supervision is otherwise enough in the main area. In the children's area Gnome, Klabautermann and Goblin cover levels 1 to 3, Pirate and Captain levels 4 and 5.
Sundown climbing costs 19 € – eleven euros below the regular adult rate.
People with a light handicap pay 28 € instead of 30 €, alongside pensioners and pupils and students over 18. Most sites in this directory either name no discount at all or require a severe disability card.
Overrun is charged: 5 € for every started half hour beyond the three hours. A personal ranger costs 40 € an hour.
The loyalty card makes the sixth visit free. Family tickets and season tickets were added by the operator for the 2026 season.
The season runs from 28 March to 1 November 2026. For groups and school classes the park also opens outside regular hours, on request by email.
