What makes Walderlebniswelt Klopeiner See special

The high ropes course with its 44 elements – zip lines, rope bridges and more – is only one part of a 20,000 m² forest park. There is also a treetop walk, a nature trail, a balance path and a slide hill.

That mix is what makes the site work for families with children of different ages: anyone still too small for the high ropes course still has a full day's worth to do in the rest of the park. The course itself requires a height of 130 cm, and children only climb accompanied. Trained instructors are on site.

From 1 May it opens Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 3:30 pm, daily in July and August, and back to weekends in September. Bad weather can close it; groups of ten or more come by arrangement.

The times are briefing times – from 1 October the high ropes course stays closed while the rest of the forest park keeps running. Groups of ten or more can come at other times by arrangement. The operator points out explicitly that the course can be closed for weather; its attractions page gives 3.30 pm instead of 4 pm as the end.
