What makes Waldseilpark Pörtschach special
The distinguishing feature is in the course's name: the panorama course runs over the treetops in such a way that the view across the Wörthersee stays open. Hardly any climbing park sells the view as part of the experience – here it really is the reason to go slowly.
Across 38 tree platforms at up to 13 metres, the route leads over balance ropes, suspension bridges and zip lines. Unusual is a rock passage with via ferrata character on the adult course – rock and tree in one site is rare.
The split is clearly regulated: the children's course with a closing flying fox starts at 110 cm, the panorama course at 130 cm. Children need about 30 minutes, adults one and a half to two hours.
Prices: 16 € for children aged five to seven, 20 € for pupils, students, apprentices and seniors, 23 € for adults. Each further child on the family ticket costs 13 €, groups of ten get 10 % and from 20 people 15 %.
The season is short: 4 July to 6 September, briefings daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
