What makes Kletterwald Aurich special
The bouldering tree is a product of its own. Course 7 is a 20-metre climbing tree and costs 9 € on its own or 7 € on top of a regular round. No other operator in this directory sells a single tree as a ticket.
Two durations, two prices. Three hours across courses 1 to 6 cost 26.50 € for adults, two hours across courses 1 to 4 only 23.50 €. If you are short of time, you do not have to pay for a full round.
Even half hours can be booked: course 5 for 30 minutes costs 2.50 €, courses 5 and 6 for an hour 5 €. Prices graded this finely are not found anywhere else.
Climbing starts at age three. The children's course has been there since 2018; child and chaperone pay the same 9.50 €, and one adult may look after two children.
Climbing goes ahead in the wet. Only heavy rain or storms close the forest. Dogs may come on a lead, and there is a public playground next door.
The last briefing is early: 3 pm for the long round, 4 pm for the short one and the children's course. Arrive later and you will not climb.

School classes of 15 or more cost 17 € in years four to six, 19 € in years seven to twelve and 21 € in year 13 and at state vocational schools. From six children the birthday child climbs free, and TAO members get 20 % off. Card payment is possible. Prices as of 2026-08 – they change, please check with the operator. |

For children: The children's course is for three- to seven-year-olds and may only be climbed with an adult, who may look after two children. On the larger courses, children aged six to eight need an adult climbing with them, and those aged nine to 13 need supervision.
