Six courses with over 60 stations at heights between four and ten metres, built into mixed woodland at Kirchhatten.
Safety is by Edelrid's Smart Belay, in place since 2017. With this system the two carabiners can never be opened at the same time, so unhooking by accident is impossible.
Three hours of climbing time – half an hour more than at the sister park Grömitz on the Baltic, at identical prices.
If you want to tackle a fear of heights, you can book an instructor. 109 € on top of admission, and they stay with you for the whole session. It is one of the few explicitly named offerings of its kind in this directory.
Booking online is a euro cheaper than the gate – and effectively necessary: the operator can only sometimes take walk-ins.
A whole leisure centre surrounds the site. An open-air pool, campsite, minigolf and barbecue areas adjoin it directly; in summer you can go straight into the water afterwards.
Reachable by bus: line 270 from Oldenburg and Wildeshausen, stop Freizeitzentrum.
Cancellation terms are precise. Up to 24 hours before, 11 % is retained and the rest comes back as a voucher; after that neither cancellation nor rescheduling is possible. Arrive late and the ticket is lost – the operator asks you to be there 15 minutes early.
