You rent the site, you do not buy a ticket. 220 € plus 7 % VAT for a full day, 110 € for a half day of up to five hours. For a school class of 25 that is around 9 € a head – well below any climbing park in the region.

The reduced 7 % tax rate is the second thing that stands out. Climbing parks charge 19 %; here the reduced rate applies because the non-profit company provides an educational service.

The group belays itself. That is exactly what separates a traditional rope course from a climbing park: the tasks can only be solved together, participants belay one another and cross the elements as a group. The focus is not the personal thrill but the team.

It works without your own instructors too, and then instructor fees are added to the rental.

Four weeks' notice is compulsory. The operator has no permanently employed staff and needs the time to arrange instructors.

The low ropes course counts as much as the high one – ground-level elements where the group itself is the centre of things. There is also a bouldering room.
