The third park of the Wald-Abenteuer group, inside the Landal Sonnenberg holiday village near Trier. Children from 105 cm, Adventure course from 140 cm – and a Tarzan jump across the whole site.
What makes Waldkletterpark Leiwen special
It is the cheapest of the three Wald-Abenteuer parks. 29 € for adults on the Adventure course against 36 € at Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler – same operator, same structure.
The season pass covers all three parks. 130 € for adults pays off from the fifth visit and can be spread freely between Leiwen, Bad Neuenahr and Velbert. Passes valid across several parks are the exception in this directory.
The mega Tarzan jump crosses the whole site – you fly over the heads of those waiting into a large net. There is also the banana jump in the middle of the Adventure course.
After almost every course a zip line waits instead of a climb down.
The park sits inside the Landal Sonnenberg holiday village, 20 minutes from Trier. Around it are a large playground, an indoor play hall with bowling, a swimming pool and restaurants – a plan B for a wet day.
Booking is in advance only. Available capacity is shown online, and the operator asks you to be there 20 minutes before your slot. There are no cancellation fees.

For children: The children's course is open from 105 cm tall, recommended from age four, and goes up to nine metres. The Adventure course requires 140 cm and age eleven; anyone climbing there may take in the children's routes as well.

Open Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9 am until dusk, plus Thursdays and Fridays during the school holidays. The park closes for the winter.
